I got a burger, cooked to my requirement, at Corner Pub.
Needless to say, it's a fun place but we most likely won't be back.
TERRIBLE Experience! We had reservations for 5 at 7:15pm, only to be told we had to wait another 10 minutes. Not a big deal though. After ordering our food, we waited 45 minutes before deciding to speak to a manager. Our waiter had only checked on us once, people needed more to drink, and we had no clue what was taking so long on our food since not all of the tables were even being used. The manager said he would check for us and have it “rectified”. Couple minutes later our food did finally come out. The food was ok but we were all starving and ate it anyways. The so called manager never came back to check on us and then our waiter now had an attitude. Still not sure how the manager “rectified” anything. We had signed up for the bowling waitlist when we ordered food so after eating we checked how much longer, determined to not let the food ruin the night. Another 30 minutes is what we were told. After being on that wait list for over 2 1/2 hours we finally gave up and went somewhere else. Didn’t want to give this place anymore of our money.
When there are other options in the same parking lot, you need to give great service, it's too easy to walk out and go elsewhere.
We waited a long time for our food and when it came a burger was not what we ordered. We go there often, so we know what it should have been. We nicely stated it was wrong and our waiter told us it was the right one. When my husband asked for a menu to see.....he copped a big attitude and said he felt my husband was attacking him. We were VERY nice about it and even said mistakes happen.......he pulled the race card. Really? You've got to be kidding. The manager came and was VERY nice.....said the burger WAS wrong and got us a new one no problem. The waiter on the other had has issues.
I never hold the lack of customers against an establishment. However, the inflexibility of food preparation here forces me finish my meal beer, without a meal, and move on to a more customer oriented restaurant. Manager stopped by to ask how everything was. I told him it was a shame they are not able to prepare food the way I need it to be so I can swallow it. He said "I apologise". I sincerely think he didn't understand a word I said. :-/
It was our first time here and the service was good. We ordered drinks in the bowling area and one of the bartenders was trying to convince my boyfriend to join/buy into this credit card pyramid scheme, which was really really weird. Feeling uneasy, he went to talk to the manager and let him know what was going on because what business would want their employee soliciting their patrons on another business? The manager says something to the bartender and before we left the bartender then confronts my boyfriend about the situation. Not professional at all
Everywhere in Cool Springs were so crowded we couldn't find a bar to watch the game. As we drove past Kings Bowl we noticed the bar wasn't full (that should have been a sign) so we went in. We sat at the bar 20 minutes without a word said to us. Three bartenders and a server passed and nothing. One lady cleaned up the bar next to our seat, and still nothing. Walked out and went to Kona Grill, which was full, and got greeted in 20 seconds. Oh and Wed was 1/2 priced wine night! Double score.
