I get rules, but he literally treated me like he couldn't wait to get off the phone with me. He didn't offer any suggestions or make any effort to see if there were calls he could make on my behalf or to hide his disinterest. Is my credit score bad? Compared to the 700+ it was a few months ago, sure. Is my credit score bad comparatively? Not at all.

I have recently come under some hard times with medical bills, and my credit score has suffered. I called to follow up on all the phone calls and mail inserts with offers from Heights Finance saying that I was approved for an additional loan, because in addition to the medical bills, I am getting married in two weeks. I asked, with my excellent payment history, if it would be possible to discuss or obtain a loan without a hard credit pull? I told him what my score was now, and he could compare it to the last time they ran my credit.
The manager I spoke with, Roger or Robert, after I explained my difficult situation, he said he was confused because he thought he was speaking to "Darlene", even though I said in the first sentence,

After looking at my account, where he tried to buy himself time to figure out who I was by reading the details of my account out loud from a computer screen like I wasn't the one who asked for the loan or made every payment that he was orating to me over the phone.
After he told me everything I already knew about my account, he said it wouldn't be possible because of bank rules and that he was sorry there was "nothing he could do." I asked even with my payment history they couldn't even give me the benefit of the doubt? He said, "no."
