Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and wonderful service! They were very accommodating when I went with my family. I wasn't feeling very hungry at the time so I ordered soup but wanted some curry to take home. They took the order very well and even added some complimentary rice pudding to my takeout. Very satisfied!
Take note: if you ask for spicy food they will make it spicy! As a fan of spicy food I like that they didn't down play the spiciness simply because I'm not Indian. If you want it as hot as they make it for themselves they absolutely will. This beats past experiences where I've asked for spicy at other places and was served "American Spicy" (which isn't).
It's good though I'd have liked more options. Similar restaurants I've been to were $1 less and offered many more options. Service was good. I asked for a booth for personal issues. I was told no initially until I was leaving. Accommodations were met. I can say, most of what I tried tasted okay. Mostly, I'm not impressed and will not be back. Considering I've been strictly dieting for 6 months, I should've enjoyed more!
Absolutely fantastic food; I stuffed myself silly. Next time I'm in town I hope I remember to come back. I loved it.
I come here with my family every time I visit home. The buffet is SO good! From the vegetarian options to the desserts to the naan bread, everything is high quality. The service is also very good here.
We love House of India! The lunch buffet is always yummy (try the ginger tea), the staff is always friendly and on top of things, and naan is to die for. We've been for dinner as well and like it, but it's nice to go to the lunch and try things you may not otherwise order.
