I find it strange that "reservations are required"... I have never been turned away for not having one. Frothy Monkey is probably one of if not my absolute favorite coffeeshops in Nashville. Typically diametrically-opposed to chains, Frothy Monkey makes the cut because their multiple locations are all local with the exception of the Chattanooga location. They're gracious enough to give all their monkeys an opportunity to recharge no matter where we are in town! I particularly love the Franklin location, as there's plenty of room in a quaint and charming old home turned two-story cafe.
My husband and I love visiting the Frothy Monkey in Franklin. They have great food and drink options, and everything we purchased was delicious! Great atmosphere-you can just stop in and pick up something, or you can stay and sip on coffee for a couple of hours and work or socialize. The only not-perfect thing was that my fried eggs were undercooked both times I ordered them. But they were still delicious, especially with potatoes and toast dipped in them. Four thumbs-up from us!
There's nothing better than breakfast on the wrap-around covered porch on a rainy morning. Great place to go and do homework, or get some reading done.
Their menu is extensive, all the food is good, and it's a great value. I often find myself wondering if I got what I paid for, yet feeling more than stuffed when I leave. They go a step beyond most coffeeshops by capitalizing on our resources here in Nashville, offering tea from High Garden, East Nashville-based purveyor of the best teas on the planet.
This is one store in a regional chain. It is within walking district of the downtown Franklin shopping district. The selection of coffee drinks is extensive and they offer many good food choices as well. It has a hip atmosphere and it is a popular location.
My favorite coffee shop. This place is awesome! I visit everytime I'm in the Nashville area. Drinks are great, food is great.
Friendly service, good (but depending on kitchen staff, great) food. Always busy! Check our their Wine Down Wednesday and happy hour.
