Poor customer service, need employers with better customer service skills. Store employees should cater to customers of all ages, size and races. Very surprising that the Cool Springs location was so disappointing. Even the onsite manager wasn't very polite.
I will not be doing any business with American Eagle in the future as a result of this absurd, insulting experience.
Valerie was antagonistic, begrudging, unpleasant and unhelpful. What a poor excuse for customer service. What a joke.
Store manager left task at hand to assist me in finding a certain size. When we were unsuccessful, she then found exactly what I needed from another store and had it brought over for me.
I like this store and shop here all the time. So far no issues. Had to return online purchases few times and did not run into any issues.

I visited this store on 9/28/15 to exchange a recently purchased shirt. I received a textbook case of poor customer service from Valerie and another manager. They initially refused my return, claiming that the item must have been worn due to wrinkles and supposed signs of wear. Valerie showed no genuine empathy or any assumption of positive intent for the sake of customer service.
Valerie proceeded to explain customer service from her point of view, literally splitting hairs with me and pointing out a visible hair on the white shirt. I was even made to explain a nearly invisible trace of sweat from when I tried the shirt on after purchase.
Pleased with the prompt and personal attention I received.
I had to speak with Amanda, a district manager, just to have my request for an exchange approved.
