The week leading up to the wedding was an interesting one, with Hurricane Harvey bringing in lots of rain and storms and every single one of our guests traveling from out of town... but the Southern Events team worked with us and helped to remove any stress we had about a COMPLETELY outdoor wedding! They were able to make quick last minute decisions to help facilitate the weather conditions and never once made us feel like we couldn’t come to them with a question or concern.
Working with Southern Events was such a joy and easy process! Being an event planner from San Diego, who chose to have a destination wedding, meant I would be planning from 2,000+ miles away! More than a simple event rental place, they offer decorative items to set the tone of your event. Sunny reviewed our order carefully to make sure we had the right tables, chairs and linens. We had a great wedding and the staff at Southern Events helped to make sure that happened without a hitch.
My husband and I planned our wedding in Columbia from Michigan. Working with Kristina at Southern Events was a delight. I never doubted that everything would be taken care of. We rented months in advance and Kristina was even able to send me photos of all the rentals setup for me to get a feel of what it would look like on wedding day. There was a small issue a few days before the wedding but Kristina called me and made everything work out perfectly. Would use Southern Events in a heartbeat!
I needed to rent 200 chairs for an event my company was hosting. Southern Events (Kristina specifically) was exceptional! From the minute I spoke with her I was confident that everything from the order to delivery to pick-up would go smooth. And, it did! Last minute we even needed to add a few items to our order and again Kristina delivered. Not only was the addition added to our current order without any trouble, but Kristina also delivered part of it personally to ensure we received it in time. No doubt that she went above and beyond to ensure the success of our event. The delivery team was also very professional and helpful when they arrived with our order. Across the board, Southern Events was professional, timely, and provided excellent customer service. We have another event in April and I already let Kristina know we'll be placing that order with her as well.
