I started coming to Franklin Gracie Barra about a month ago and can honestly say that training with the amazing professors and coaches has been one of the best experiences in my life. I have played Junior hockey and D1 Lacrosse, but training jiu jitsu has challenged me at a whole other level. I love getting off work because I know I get to go train with so many amazing and gifted individuals almost every day. The gym places a strong emphasis on respect, discipline, courage and their are multiple opportunities to not only get better at jiu jitsu, but also become a better overall individual. I have been going to Gracie Barra Franklin for a couple of months. I was anxious before attending my first class, but quickly found myself feeling welcomed into this community. I’ve learned a ton, got consistently solid workouts, and discovered a passion for an art I previously knew nothing about. It’s probably too early to say that I’m a “lifer”, but the experience I’ve had thus far has definitely inspired me to be. Take a class. You have nothing to lose and so much to gain.
