Children less than parent waist high playing across the field from their parents are @ risk for untoward interaction. Harlinsdale isn't the new McDonalds Playground. Parents, catch up on your social chitchat @ each other's homes or Starbucks. A dogpark requires a standard basic level of supervisory awareness.

I come here with my dog, Pippin all the time! The dog owners in my opinion are not sensitive. Everyone loves to talk (the people of course) while their pups run around and have fun! There are 3 sections for dogs. Normally some people go in one of the smaller sections for their smaller dogs. It's a blast to go here!

Harlinsdale is bliss! I wish parents would read the rules and guide their children accordingly. A dogpark is structured for dogplay rather than primarily childplay. Children running screaming with raised waving hands overly excite dogs. Children sitting and standing on benches, tables or the round concrete slab in Paddock 1 are @ risk for being knocked over and injured. I consider this parental neglect.

The weekends are too packed with dogs and the people that come on the weekends don't come all week long but think they own the place. Overly sensitive men drinking their coffee and are overly protective of their dogs. No rough housing allowed! The irony is that a puppy was just killed there two weeks ago by other dogs! Not a good place and my dog's trainer said that is the worst place to take him.

Also, don't reward dog behavior that should be ignored and thus behaviorally extinguished. It doesn't take a bouncer to direct a dog to get "Off" you or a bench, or table and keep all four paws on the ground. Your shrills and anxious protests simply train a dog to jump more, like it's fun. Just apply Dog Behavior 101, simple. Remember, #ItsADogPark

It is a nice dog park.
