Rather small and loud inside..but clean and great food
I haven't had a thing here that wasn't good! This store is on the main drag in downtown Franklin and a great lunch stop. The service is fast and prices are good. Parking can be a challenge but if you're familiar with the area and can street park well, you'll have no problem.
Taziki's is an interesting take on Greek food. As a chain restaurant you can see the streamlining process in full view here. Food is served quickly and very efficiently. Within 10 minute of ordering at the kiosk we had our food. Sadly, the food suffers for that streamlining. A small grouping of chips, a nice bowl of cut fruit and an underwhelming chicken gyro. The chicken was dry, very dry. There are better chicken gyros out there, and at better prices to boot. I will be back to try the lamb and beef gyros but on first impression this is a chain restaurant that's fast at service but the food suffers for it.
Was happily surprised that a chain restaurant had such a delicious selection of greek food! I was able to quickly order online for pickup as soon as they opened for lunch. My order was perfect and the staff greeted me promptly. I recommend the Lamb Gyro, as they use real Lamb and the sauce really improved the flavor. My only complaint is the limited parking, but that is more of a "Franklin on Sunday" problem than the fault of the restaurant. Can't wait to go back!
The best Greek restaurant me and my wife have eaten at yet since we have been in the Franklin area. Good food. Clean restaurant. Prompt service & friendly staff.
