My mother when into this shop to get a few wheel studs fixed on her vehicle that another place had broken. That is when they looked at her car and told her that she had no brake pads left and attempted to sell her some. I know for a fact that the brakes were not ready to replace yet, because I had just replaced them myself earlier in the year. This place is looking to cheat you out of money by attempting to take advantage of people who do not know anything or very little about vehicles. Do not bring your vehicle here unless you do not care about it. This is not the first bad thing I have heard about this place either, it is actually the third, which is why I am writing a review now, hopefully to save some people from a bad experience and some money.
We had a great experience with Crutcher's. We are new to the area and were looking for a trustworthy mechanic - WE FOUND ONE! Shea was super friendly, knowledgable, accomodating, and HONEST. I've never had a service before where I'm quoted a price, and the actual comes in lower. I feel like most mechanics seek out problems with your car, and before3you know it you need to pay quite a bit extra. To top it off, they were willing to make arrangements for us last minute when they were clearly very busy.
Javier is an informative and fair owner. I would recommend his shop to my mother if she need repair work. They had my car on the road quickly even though it was a major repair
The service here is awesome. The staff is very attentive and honest. This is my go to spot for service on my out of warranty vehicles.
Update after reading response from owner: WOW, this place will say anything to not accept the fact that they were wrong and got caught in the process. I am responding to this some time later because I just heard a colleague of mine complain about the mistreatment of this business and I was curious if my review was still posted, which was the first time I was able to read the response. And yes, my choice of words was colorful to the person I spoke with on the phone because I can't stand it when an individual or business tries to take advantage of someone else. And for the record this business was paid for fixing the wheel studs. The response from the owner makes it seem like they did it for free which is just another lie that this business made.
I can't really say enough good about them. I've been a customer for a few years since I moved here. They've always done great work at fair prices. Recently my truck started running really rough. We called and asked if they could fit us in and they worked on it the next day and had it back that night.
