The store was clean and employees very helpful. Unfortunately did not find what I needed today. Still love this store.
For some reason, this store is one of my favorite places to spend my hard-earned cash. They've got some good deals on clothing. And I kinda liked the Backstage part of the store too (because that area deserves some love, right?). Service is fairly decent and quite helpful. Overall enjoyable place to shop.
Angela and Dre are the worst employees at that location and both lazy liars. Ther customer service was awful. I went to the bedding department to return and online item and the cashier immediately says if you bought it online you can only return online. I tell her I was in last week and had no problems with an online return. She says you callin me a liar with her voice raised at me in front of my child. She was extremely rude had no name tag. She is an older black woman (60-70's) with her hair colored blond with glasses. I asked her to call a manager and when he arrived (Dre),said the same thing to me that I had to send it back by mail. I told him I was in last week and had no problems. I only buy online. He said is was a new policy. I told him about how rude the sales person was and she comes from the background and yells at me in front of him to me. I tell him see how rude she is to me. He said he would handle her. I ask for her name since she has no name tag and he says to me you ask her. I am stunned. I ask her and she says, I am not telling you, I am a liar. I grab an item and say ring this up I will get you ID and report you to upper management and then Dre, the manager says I will ring you up to protect her. I am really mad now. I start to raise my voice and he gets embarrassed and says don't cause a scene, her name is Angela. I will report this to upper management because I think Dre is a noboby and must be related to this woman. I will never shop at Macy's again. They are so desperate to hire inept, uneducated people to work there. No wonder Macy's is going down. Amazon is the way to go from this point foward.
Great access to this location. This place is low on staff and those that are here will send you from department to department instead of letting you pay for all you want under one receipt.
Big enough store if you don’t mind the hassle and had all I needed.
I went to this Macy’s last Sunday 12/3 and purchased a purse that was on sale for 40% off and then was to have received an additional 25% off. When I received my receipt it looked like I had received only the 40% discount and when I questioned the salesperson they said no, I had received both. Deciding to give the salesperson the benefit of the doubt, I decided I would go home and review the receipt to make sure I had not missed something before I proceeded. After going home and reviewing the receipt, I did find that I had not received my additional 25% discount but due to it being late in the day, I decided to wait to go back to the store after work on Monday. On Monday 12/4 around 6:15, I entered the store and went to the purse counter and explained why I was there. The salesperson working that night apologized for the error and credited my debit card. Approximately 15 minutes later I walked out of the mall to go to my car which was parked 4 cars away from the door of the store. I had gotten to about the first car when I was very startled as I felt like a car was backing into me, however, it turns out it was a man who had ran up behind me and very forcibly ran into my back and knocked me to the ground attempting to steal my purse. I held on as my only thoughts were that my life would be so ruined financially if the person obtained my credit cards, license, etc. screaming at the top of my lungs for help and holding on for dear life, the would be thief finally realized that he would not be making “bank” off of me and decided to leave. Afterwards a few people who were getting out of their cars came forward to help me. I called 911 and received help immediately from the Franklin police department and paramedics. I never once saw a security person in the parking lot. I was taken to Williamson Medical Center where it was determined that would be thief had broken my right scapula. On my way to the hospital I had called my husband to let him know what was going on and ask that he alert Macy’s of the situation. It has been a week and no one from Macy’s has reached out to me to make sure I am ok and/or to assure me they are taking extra security measures to prevent this situation from happening with another customer. I am sure their lawyers if they were advised of the situation have told them to keep quiet to save their good name. The only thing I want out of this situation is for the person who did this to me to be caught and for Macy’s and the Mall to make sure that they are doing everything they can to prevent this from happening in the future. Yes, I was alone that evening, but it was 6:15 in the evening, I parked very close to the door and in a well lit area. I was not bogged down by shopping bags - I only had my purse and I kept it tight to my body as I do when I am alone and walking to my car. Bottom line is ladies beware as this store is not looking out for you - do not go there after dark at anytime of the evening as this could happen to you.
