I write this review not to be harsh, but hopefully bring awareness to whomever is in charge of hiring. You're losing great members! Educate your employees.

Traveling through Nashville and stayed near Prairie Life Fitness, 300 Shingle Way. My hotel's fitness facility was terribly underserved so I reached out to Prairie for a pass. What I received was a very welcoming staff and unexpected accommodation, even though I did not have a membership and did not live in the state; essentially underscoring that they served me even though they new I would not be purchasing a membership. If the customer service were not enough what I found was an excellent facility. It is a gym that can serve the serious trainer to the novice athlete, and everyone in between. Thanks Prairie for letting me get a great work out in while away from my own gym.
I paid the early termination fee just to be rid of them sooner. Better fitness options are out there by far. I do not recommend Prairie Life Fitness.
YES, they are completely inept, lazy, and quite frankly stupid. They lie about phone calls made, account records, fees charged, and are full of excuses regarding their subpar service!! In order to accomplish anything, I had to go to the gym during manager hours and make everyone uncomfortable.
I used to love going to this gym, but unfortunately, after being billed for 6 straight months after canceling our membership, I will never join here again. I also have called to inquire about summer camps, yoga classes, swim team information and the associates at the front desk do not know the answers. Instead of figuring it out or asking a manager, they simply just apologize and say "I don't know."
The gym is beyond antiquated, with dust ridden floors and equipment, and the installed carpeting in the locker room is a first. I feel the need to scrub my feet with boiling hot water every time it comes to mind. Their facility does little to justify their relatively pricey membership fees.
Joined in April 2017. Excellent trainers. First Robert, then Marcie. My program is challenging and is delivering the results I want. Facility is clean, well maintained with a wide variety of equipment.
