We came for the weekend to attend Pilgrimage Fest, so my review is skewed for that reason. I thought the park was large and plenty of room to roam, but I would recommend pants and close-toe shoes due to the height of the cut grass still being fairly tall and rough in some areas. More of a pasture than a maintained or seeded grass. The barn and rodeo ring area are neat and more maintained, so I assume the rough grass is just in the less trekked areas. Otherwise, it was lovely, easy to access, and lots of fun!
It's a wonderful city park with a lots of history. Over 200 acre's. Two dog parks, Polo stadium. Walking horse history. Across the street from the Factory. Home of the pilgrimage festival.
Really great dog park! Nice place for a picnic or hiking, also has horse trails. We come here for family photos every year.
Great park fur multiple uses. Great dog play area but with acres of varying topography to enjoy. Visit with my dogs at least once weekly.
Gorgeous family- and dog-friendly park has frequent activities, walking/running trail, fenced in dog park, small pond for fishing. Fabulous views of rolling hills. Excellent spot for plein air painting or just watching the sunset. Home of the Pilgrimage Festival.
