I love that she is fast pace. I personally do not like spending my whole day in the doctors office. She is quick at getting results and letting me know what is going on. I come in and she tells me what I need to know, I ask questions and answers them and we move on. Now with me saying she is fast paced, anytime I have ever had questions or other concerns, she takes the time to answer me or get me the information needed. She gets the job done. Also, her staff is very efficient at their jobs. Anytime I have ever called, or use the online messaging system, they get back to me extremely fast. Most of the time I do not even need to speak to the doctor because they can answer my questions. They are very on top of things and have a great system. Great office, and great doctor.
This is the worst gynecologist I have ever been too. Throughout my pregnancy, I felt like I was very unsure and did not really know a whole lot about what was going on with my baby. At every appointment, all they really did was check the heartbeat and they made me wait until 10 weeks pregnant to even have my first appointment, which I have never heard of any doctors office doing that before. It never felt like a personalized experience, I felt like a patient among an ocean of many other patients. I did not feel cared about, and when I was doing my doctor rotations towards the end of my pregnancy I really only liked one doctor in the whole practice. My regular doctor, Dr. Dykes, was very condescending, she told me right off the bat that every myth about baby gender was a lie, she hardly ever let me finish my sentences, and she honestly made me feel like a moron throughout my whole pregnancy. I thought maybe I was being dramatic, until I read other reviews about her and realized I was not the only one. Also during my pregnancy (this was my first pregnancy) I started bleeding in the middle of my pregnancy, around 28 weeks, and I called them extremely worried and when all was said and done no one could explain why I was bleeding, they never even offered to do an ultrasound to just check on him. I was worried sick, it caused SO much undue stress and anxiety. But, Today was the last straw when I showed up after MONTHS of waiting to get my IUD placed. I called almost 3 months ago, and the woman who schedules the IUD placement told me my insurance was going to cover it 100% and I was good to go. For whatever reason, these people make you wait until you are on your period to get your IUD placed despite having multiple friends and reading lots of things online about how you can really get it placed whenever. So I waited until I was on my period, and of course they make me wait until the end of my cycle because they had no other appointments. I showed up 15 minutes before my appointment and they gave me the runaround, saying that I was in active underneath the insurance as of 2015, even though in the bottom right-hand corner of the insurance card it clearly states the insurance was active in 2017 of July. They made me wait in the waiting room for almost 45 minutes trying to get things straightened out with the insurance, only to tell me that they really had no idea what was going on with anthem (my insurance) and that it could be a number of things that went wrong, despite telling me three months ago that I was good to get my IUD placed. I was told I would need to wait until my next cycle, a month from now. What is the point of birth control if I have to wait almost half a year to get it??????? It's already been three months to get a regular period and now I am having to wait an extra because these people can't get it together. Needless to say I am beyond frustrated with these people, and if you are looking at finding a doctor for regular check ups or to walk you through your pregnancy, I HIGHLY suggest looking elsewhere if you are looking for a practice that genuinely cares for their patients.
I have been a patient of Dr. Osburn for 5 years now, and I could not ask for a better doctor. She makes what would normally be uncomfortable annual visits and check ups very easy and as comfortable as possible when it comes to these types of visits. She is thorough, always answers all of my questions, and is very funny, which makes my visits so much more relaxing and stress free.
Dr. Woodall is amazing and I have been seeing her for about 2 years now. Reading some of the bad reviews about these doctors kind of made me giggle. They are OB/GYN doctors not a therapist!!! They are very good at what they do and are very busy for a reason. Dr. Woodall is a straight shooter and gets to the point. This is what I like about her.
The front desk was polite and efficient today as always. I've seen two providers in this group over the years - Nan Gentry and Dr. Netherton and have been pleased with their bedside manner, knowledge of women's health and their obvious commitment to my care. I'd recommend this group without reservation!
Everyone here at the Vanderbilt Women's Clinic at Franklin has been so nice, friendly and respectful!! All us women know how uncomfortable it can be to have these visits and it's much more pleasant when you have friendly staff to welcome you and be helpful!! I had to have an ultrasound done today that I was informed was uncomfortable (unfortunately not for pregnancy other issues) and the Ultrasound Technician, Stacey was so nice and made the most uncomfortable situation tolerable!! She talked to me and let me know what she was taking pictures of during the whole process!! I really appreciate that!! Definitely recommend their services here!! Dr. Netherton was also very quick to call me soon as tests results were back, I didn't have any needless lengthy waiting and worry time!! Thank y'all for being so Awesome!!
