A few hours later the CEO/Owner Randy Hulett calls me, and in 1 unsympathetic generic statement says "Your policy has been cancelled and I will relay your frustrations with the agent" and that is it. Nothing else, no attempt to regain my business, didn't ask what the issues were, did not offer any sort of empathy at all. One forced generic statement and he was on his way off the line already. At this point I relay my frustrations to him, not because he asked, but because I felt it necessary. He says he can't do anything at all they don't cancel the insurance and it's not their issue, when in fact, they DO cancel the insurance. So not only does the agent not know their business, the owner obviously has the same ineptitude. He still does not actually apologize for anything, nor make any efforts to help with anything. Finally I ask bluntly if he can help or not, and if not that is fine, I would make every effort possible to tell anyone and every one I could to not use their service. At that point he got insulted that an angry customer threatened to talk bad about his business that wronged them. It wasn't the classiest move, but I had been screwed over multiple times and I wanted a resolution.
I was purchasing a car, needed full coverage insurance, Elite Insurance Solutions was suggested by the dealership. I gave all my information for them to run the appropriate reports, and after multiple phone calls, more from me to him than returned calls I finally got squared away.
After 2 months I raked up enough money to change, so called to cancel. The insurance company told me I had to cancel with Elite Insurance Solutions. I call and get my original agent and he says "Oh that was supposed to be cancelled" but he doesn't do it the insurance does. Call the insurance, get told the agent cancels the policy again, the insurance calls Elite Insurance and finally he is on the same page, Elite Insurance had to cancel it after all. He states he will start working on it and if I don't hear anything by Monday give him a call. I asked him to send me his managers information so I could file a complaint, of which surprise surprise, I never get, despite him saying he would send it.
I encourage any and every one to stray away from Elite Insurance Solutions and pursue other avenues, they will be just as cheap and you will get much better service.
ZERO STARS!!! (Have to choose 1 at least to post) Elite Insurance Solutions, from the top down is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of doing business with. This is the first time I've went out of my way to complain about any service or company ever. I'm pretty passive about things.
I have worked with Chase with my homeowners as well as Chris with our commercial insurance needs, both providing first class service at a competitive price. I would highly recommend the team at Elite!
Finally I call the agency themselves, get a wonderful operator transferred to the owner Randy Hewlett and I leave a voicemail. I call back and get another agent to cancel my services.
Come to find out, they never cancelled it and my payments had not been refunded, and I never got an answer back from the agent on the status. Up comes the next month, payment auto drafts from my account a rate double what I signed a contract for. So i'm out an initial payment, and a doubled rate, with nothing back about getting it fixed.
At that point he said "Well if that's how you feel i'm not going to help you at all do what you want" and after I asked "Really that is your response to this issue?" He stated do what I want and he wouldn't help then hung up on me. I called back, got ignored, left a voicemail requesting a return call and have yet to hear from him. The owner couldn't even handle an escalated customer complaint with tact. So i'm doing as I promised now.
A few days later i'm told that my license is suspended and they have to cancel the policy. Fair enough, I didn't know that, squared that away immediately. However I was advised that the insurance would not cover me, and the policy would be cancelled. Again, fair enough not their fault, no harm no foul, I declined further solutions from them at this time, and requested a reimbursement for the first month I already paid for.
