Told me I was going to have to have surgery. Sent me for MRI. My cost with BCBS is 643.00. Met with surgeon, no surgery needed. Steroid shot and wrist brace for 4 weeks. My problem does not require surgery. Very quick, rushed, not helpful and now I have a 643.00 bill to pay.
His nurses are also very nice and friendly, I have recommend others to his office.
The best doctor experience I've ever had. He is caring and truly has your best interest in mind. I got a stress fracture in my hip after hiking the AT. I was so scared I was never going to be able to do another long trail. He respected my choice to not go on any medication. I followed all of his advice and I'm hiking my next trail this July! I'm so grateful to Dr. Looney.
Dr. Looney is a very nice and caring guy. He will make sure that I fully understand as I am deaf and even I have interpreter with me still he will make sure that I fully understand and very concern with his patience.. Dr. Looney will give you the best choice of what he think is best for his patience... He has done surgery on me. Before start with surgery he talk with me to make sure every thing taking well care and would make sure I know what will be done and want me sure I'm doing good before start surgery And others staff are very friendly and caring make me feel more comfortable there.. I would recommend you all go there.. I really love it there! I would not go any other place or other doctor... He is the BEST.. Dr. Looney and his nurse Steph have been incredible throughout a very mysterious, atraumatic injury. Although it wasn't a clearly defined procedure, I put my trust in Dr. Looney for the procedure, in many ways because he went well above and beyond his responsibilities a surgeon typically has to his patient. He spent an extensive amount of time talking to me, analyzing images with other physicians, and coming up with a forward plan of action. Although I am just over two weeks post-op, I can say with the utmost confidence that you won't find a better hip surgeon in Tennessee.
