My son is 12 years old. He has been a patient of Dr. Mowery's for 11 years. He is a great Dr and very caring and understanding. I recommend him to all my friends and family.
I would personally never ever take my child back to this doctor! We basically ran out of the office, no joke.
Doctor Gregory A Mower is an Outstanding Doctor and Surgeon. Our son has seen him since he was six years old. He has had tonsils, adenoids, and tubes. He has had sinus surgery. Both times he has been treated with amazing. He is fifteen years old. Our daughter was just a little over a year old when she had to have tubes. She never cried one time. We were more scared then her. His bed side manners are OFF THE CHART! I would say we have had to wait at times. Usually because of an unusual circumstance in front of us. I know things come up. It's called life. They usually tell you he is running behind. Also just to mention he does surgeries in the morning.
I did not have a problem with wait times. Dr. Mowery was great the one and only time I met him. My issue is with the staff at this facility. It is very hard to get through to anyone for scheduling or to answer a question. You are transferred to the proverbial voicemail that says leave a message and your call will be returned within 24 hours, and then it's not. Or you call and tell the person that answers the phone not to transfer you to anyone's voicemail, that your situation does not require a call to 911 but your call is urgent and you need to speak with someone that can help, and you're put on eternal hold. I will not return to this location for any follow ups to my diagnosis. Patient advocacy is not their concern.
They are very good at ignoring you for 45 minutes after you have paid your co-pay. I walked out after waiting so long to see Dr. Mowery. Before leaving I requested that my co-pay be refunded. They did so, but never asked why, never made a follow up call. From my standpoint this outfit doesn't care.
