Nice office, professional staff and Doctor Maltz did a good job. Very detailed orientated, would recommend Dr. Maltz and his staff!
DO NOT USE DR. MALTZ !I...I would not recommend Dr. Maltz or his office for anything other than cleaning my sink drain. My wife had a procedure in 2012. We met with Dr. Maltz's staff to make sure they verified our insurance coverage. We met with Dr. Maltz the day of the operation and he said our insurance was fine. After the operation we find out that they put the wrong code on the paperwork and we are on the hook for thousands of dollars in medical bills. His office never checked with our insurance company and neither did Williamson County Med. Center. Dr. Maltz would never call us back or make contact. They won't even send our billing records to the other Doctors so I can pay them. I can't get any help from Vanderbilt Med or Dr. Maltz. Stay away form these people.
Does not spend time with you, doesn't go over treatment that is needed, doesn't go over any diet that is needed, impossible to see, will get assistant, or nurse practitioner.
I had a serious issue with one of the nurse's that called to give me the results from my daughter's visit. She rude and condescending and ended up hanging up on me when I pushed back. Dr Maltz called me later that day and apologized for her behavior. He made no excuses and expressed concern for my daughter's issues. Dr Maltz is a great Dr and the only reason I'm giving him a 4 is because of the nurse. Maybe she was just having a bad day, or maybe she doesn't have very good bedside manner. Either way, I sincerely hope that the issue was taken care of because that is definitely not the type of nurse patient's need to talk to.
A great doctor. Caring, knowledgable, easygoing, and one of the best. I would go see Him for a minor colonoscopy or for a complex issue.
